Evidence~5th grade poetry & photography

Please post comments from your students, which show the positive influence of an artist residency.

I'll begin this thread with some feedback from 5th grade students after a 14-week residency in their clasroom at Pulaski Community Academy.

Poetry

I learned that you don’t have to make a poem that rhymes but it has to make sense and you have to express your feelings and what you do. I really liked it it was fun you can make a poem the 1 line 5 sylabels 2 line 7 and the 3 line 5. I had lots and lots o fun.

Iv lerned that when you look at a shadow you can’t see if they are laughing or not laughing.

I learned How to describe a picture and to write a hikoo and to write a poem. And how to show my feeling and explain a picture.

We took pictures and talk about how I feel at home.

I really like working with you because you have tought me a lot of new things. What I like most is when you were recording us that’s what I really like most. But also like when we went to that trip to Columiba College because the picture were very interesting!

Columbia Museam
I liked the trip to the Columbia Museum I think it was funny when the guy stick his faced in the laundry matt, whe we had to describe what was in the picture. And I liked working with you because you show me new things.
